Jeonbuk FC is on a winning steak
Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors Football Club got the better of the enemy with the striking power, and took a powerful step toward the upper ranks.
Jeonbuk FC had an away match of Sonata K-League R13 against Daejeon Citizen Football Club and presented a remarkable play; the club went ahead 3-0 in the first half, and won to Daejeon FC 4-0, finally. With this result, Jeonbuk FC lost no points in 3 consecutive matches.
The fast offense of Jeonbuk FC
The best eleven of Jeonbuk FC was set except Kim Sang Sik and Lee Yo Han. The head coach Choi Kang Hee deployed Lee Dong Gook and Kruno Lovrek to the front lines. Also, Enio Oliveira Junior, Luiz Henrique Da Silva, and Choi Tae Uk supported them. Meanwhile, Daejeon FC get in 3-4-3 formation and used three back system with Hwang Ji Yoon, Alexandre Zacarias dos Santos, and Park Jung Hae.
Jeonbuk FC was in control of the match as expected. Especially, Choi Tae Uk and Lee Dong Gook paired up and led the offense. Then, Choi Tae Uk opened the scoring; he fired a shot off a pass from Luiz, and it hit the goalpost and shook the net in the 16th minute. Their organized pass and shooting were outstanding. On the contrary, positioning the defense of Daejeon FC left much to be desired.
Jeonbuk FC kept driving the enemy to the brink of total defeat and gained 2 more goals. Lee Dong Gook made a perfect assist for Lovrek; when he faced one-to-one situation against the goalie, he decided to pass the ball to Lovrek, and Lovrek chipped into the net in the 34th minute. 8minutes later, Enio succeeded the third goal with his extraordinary speed; he penetrated from the left side, dribbled past the goalie, and fired the right-foot inside in the 42nd minute.
Luiz scored a decisive one for the victory
Jeonbuk FC did not loosen the grip on the offense in the second half, too. The goalie Choi Eun Sung barely made some saves for Jeonbuk¡¯s sharps attacks. Daejeon FC did not have a clue about how to deal with the offense. After missing some scoring chances, Daejeon FC replaced Ko Ki Gu who was newly hired.
The stream of the second half assumed an aspect that Daejeon FC suffered from the consecutive attacks of Jeonbuk FC. The goalie displayed his game handling ability fit for such a highly experienced veteran as himself; he made a save with his face for Lee Dong Gook¡¯s left-shot in the 14th minute, and blocked the way of Lovrek¡¯s pass.
Jeonbuk FC proved itself determined to win this match! Luiz got the ball with trapping and made the fourth score. It rushed for the corner of the goal. The reversal Daejeon FC tried failed and Jeonbuk FC swept the opponent by 4-0.
